OBEC Takes the Stage at Rev: Ithaca Demo Day.
Demo Day marked the close of OBEC's time in the Rev: Ithaca Hardware Accelerator. Months ago, we arrived in Ithaca with a mission to build human-centered medical hardware for space. This week, we shared that work with the Rev community, our fellow founders, and industry partners.
Rev gave our team the environment hardware demands: access to Cornell's rapid prototyping labs and engineering resources, plus guidance from Entrepreneurs-in-Residence who have brought complex physical products to market. Throughout the program, we focused on Design for Manufacturability, so that our hardware is not only functional but scalable, reliable, and ready for real-world use.
Demo Day was a chance to show how far the work has come, and to celebrate a cohort of founders who spent these months building physical products alongside us.
We're grateful to the Rev: Ithaca Startup Works team, our Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, and Cornell University for their support, and to everyone who has followed and backed OBEC along the way.
So what's next? Ithaca helped us break the ice, and our next test takes us to the coldest, most remote place on Earth. Don't worry, we're not getting cold feet.
